The disgusting elephant in the room

“I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married…she’s now got the big phony tits…”

“When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy, you can do anything.”

“No, I have no age–I mean, I have age limit. I don’t want to be like Congressman Foley with, you know, 12-year-olds.”

“I was actually faithful to my wife for many years, until I realized the marriage wasn’t going to work.”

According to Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump, women exist to be objectified, gawked at, judged on their appearance, and groped. In case you forgot, the year is 2016. While women still have great work to do towards equality, we are further now than we have ever been. Yet, the man who could potentially begin serving in the office of the US presidency–considered by many as the most powerful position in the world–is one who has made countless sexist, misogynistic, bigoted comments and refuses to own up for them besides his own version of the “boys will be boys” argument. How in the world are women still objectified to such an extent in the 21st century? Donald Trump does not represent me or the other women in America, and my desire to stop him from getting elected has been pushed even further.
